Interdisciplinary research since 2018.
Founded on 10 January 2018 within T.C. İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, the Life Sciences and Technologies Laboratory hosts wide-ranging research in molecular biology, microbiology, toxicology and biomedical engineering. Embracing the multidisciplinary working culture that underpins scientific progress, the laboratory enables researchers from different faculties to produce joint projects under a strong shared infrastructure.

Our advanced technical infrastructure — including real-time PCR, capillary sequencing, fluorescence microscopy, cell culture and microbiology units — is open to all research groups. The full equipment inventory is listed on the Laboratory Infrastructure page.
This multidisciplinary environment supports the thesis and project work of our researchers and students, and enables scientific studies of international quality that contribute to the contemporary literature.
