Grup Hakkında

Grubun çalışma alanı ve hedefleri.

Bitki Patolojisi Araştırma Grubu, arpa ve buğday hastalıklarının moleküler temellerini ve bitki–patojen etkileşimlerini araştırır. Çalışmalarımız, tahıl patojenlerinin biyolojisinin anlaşılmasına ve hastalıklarla mücadele için deneysel yaklaşımlar geliştirilmesine odaklanır.

Moleküler biyoloji ve genetik yöntemlerini mikrobiyolojik deneylerle birleştirerek patojenlerin ve konak bitkilerin farklı koşullara verdikleri yanıtları inceliyoruz. Bu çalışmalarla bitki sağlığına ilişkin temel bilgiyi genişletmeyi ve sonraki araştırmalara dayanak oluşturmayı amaçlıyoruz.
